Poor Compy

So, I had to take my computer to the Genius Bar at the Apple store on Saturday. I was pretty sure that I would have to but I spent a good half-hour on the Apple Care line to make sure that this would be necessary. Apparently my CD/CD-RW/DVD/DVD-R drive doesn't want to work anymore and they have to replace it. Total: $399.

Extended Warranty that was purchased when I bought the computer: $369

Cost to me to fix my drive problem: $0.

Thank God I bought that warranty, I would be so pissed right now otherwise. It is kind of like in The Game of Life (did I ever tell you how my HS friends and I brought this to a dance one time? We were so cool), always buy the insurance.

Anyway, I will be at least a couple of more days without a computer at home (so I can't put those Cash CDs on my iPod yet, or make copies for other people who want them). Apple said it would be up to 10 business days before I could have the computicon back.
