is DC? The answer? As if it is a surprise, is VERY.
So, yesterday I received a letter in the mail from DC. I didn't check the address, but I assumed it must be concerning the parking ticket I am fighting (stupid DC and "emergency parking the day after a holiday). Therefore, I was a little surprised and it was about my condo.
After a moment of panic (oh Lord, how much more money do they want from me now?), I read that it was actually a survey they wanted me to fill out. The survey was to track real estate or some such. So, being the good citizen that I am, I fill it out and put it in the envelope. One would think if they are asking people to send in a survey, they would include a pre-paid envelope, no? No, apparently not. Really DC, you can't print for the $0.39 to get this information that you claim to want/need? Awesome.
PS- And I am apparently becoming a penny-pinching crumudgeon of a spinster.
