Two Questions:
Question 1: How do you feel about a man in capri pants?
a) Fine. They are just another form of clothing. People are free to wear what they want.
b) Questionable. True they are another form of clothing, but on a man? I am unsure.
c) Not so good. Seriously, they are "girl" pants.
d) Eh, who cares?
e) They really should look into some shants.
Question 2: How do you feel about a man who appears to have shaved his legs? Please explain.
Obviously this poll comes about because I saw both of these phenomena earlier this week. I will reveal my answers later in the comments section.

B. Questionable, for two reasons: 1. They make the guy look short, or, like he just has a growth spurt and can't afford new pants, and 2. With few exceptions, men's legs are wierd looking. Best to keep those hairy chicken legs covered up whenever possible.
Question 2: only acceptable if he's a competitive swimmer.
1) C. Seriously, Kevin Federline wears "manpris" - need I say more?
2) I dated a swimmer in high school, and he shaved for competitions. Otherwise, unless you're gay, definitely weird and too obsessed with his appearance would be my assessment.

Wow Court, you feel strongly about this, huh? We will see if Angela submits and answer in the next day or so, and then I will post mine. (HINT HINT ANGELA.)
Shut up. I commented once, it posted twice.
And I stand by my statements!
1) I can see the appeal f the capri.. even for boys, there are days that are too cool for shorts, but you could use a little extra ventilation. However, this does not mean that any old capri is okay on a guy. Good manpris: baggy, long, almost a longer version of jams. Bad mapris: those that are tight and fitted, such as the pair that I saw.
2) I agree with both Court (she of the three posts) and Sarah, it is okay if they are a swimmer, otherwise a little odd. However, since the guy I was was not in a speedo nor anywhere near a pool I will have to give him the benefit of the doubt (and he was hot so....)
My answers are...it doesn't matter anymore but...
A. Fine. People are free to wear whatever they want. I actually think some boys (gay or straight)look cuter in capris than girls because they look more athletic. The ones I've seen men wear are the cargo-like ones. That's cute!
As for the second question about men shaving legs! We were talking about this at work! (before I left). My co-worker Madhu was asking around because he said he'd been seeing a lot more men with shaved legs lately (he lives in AM). Then he said he's been seeing a lot of new NAIR for Men products, most notably at a Duane Reade in NY, where the section was vast...Our male co-workers, who are v. much white, conservative (in life), regular joes wanted nothing to do with NAIR for Men. Totally weird and wrong, they said! Maybe for swimmers, they said! As for me, I don't really care. It's v. much a fashion thing that's in at different times in different places. Perhaps some men are going for the European look.
