When I got this blog Angela advised me to start making up excuses as to why I haven't updated in awhile ("my real life got in the way," etc.). I assured her, that since I had no life there would be no need to have any excuses at the ready. However, I did not anticipate LEAVING MY COMPUTER IN OHIO. D'oh! So, here is my excuse. My computer is 6 hours (or 5.5 hours if you average 70-75 mph) away in Louisville, OH. My parents are going to take it home with them (to Cincinnati, 8-10 hours away) and bring it with them at the beginning of May (when they come out for Luke's First Communion). Therefore, for the next month, my nights and weekends on the internet will depend on the kindness of my roommates (or them not being home and me just stealing their computers). How does this effect the blog? Updates will only occur at work (like that wasn't going to happen anyway) or when I can "borrow" a computer from a roommate.
There is an upside however. With all of the free time I will have because I am not playing around on the internet I can actually start working on the schtick of this blog. The schtick that I stated the very first day I put anything on the internet. The schtick that inspired my childhood...I can start reviewing the movies and TV of my youth. The time has come. The time is now.... Or tomorrow when I re-up my Netflix membership and then 2-3 business days after that when the first few movies come. Then of course the lag between actually watching the movies and writing something up. So not so much right "NOW" as "now-ish."

Oh, Andrea. Oh, oh, Andrea.
This blog is so so young and you've already used the mother of all excuses for lack of updates: "left my computer in Ohio and can't get it back until May!" You're going to have to get really creative from now on. Really, amazingly, super creative!
